Product description

Nanrobot M5 – comfortable electric scooter with seat and basket.

The Nanrobot M5 is a practical electric scooter for those who prioritise comfort, stability and useful features in everyday life. The combination of large 12-inch pneumatic tyres, a seat, a rear basket and a wide footboard makes the model particularly well suited to comfortable shorter rides. With a stated range of 20 km and a top speed of 32 km/h, you get an electric scooter that fits everything from commuting to work to everyday errands and leisure riding. The M5 is also equipped with dual disc brakes, E-ABS, front suspension and front and rear lighting, making it a well-considered package for those who want more comfort than a traditional stand-up model.

350W motor for smooth everyday commuting.

The Nanrobot M5 is driven by a 350W motor and is designed for smooth riding in urban environments and on varied surfaces. The motor gives a top speed of up to 32 km/h and the model has a stated climbing ability of 15 degrees. Three riding modes make it easy to adapt the ride to the situation, whether you want to take it easy or make more use of the electric scooter's performance. This makes the M5 a flexible option for those looking for an electric scooter for commuting and shorter everyday journeys. Always check which traffic regulations apply where you plan to use the model, as rules on motor output and speed can differ between different use contexts.

20 km range and straightforward charging.

With a 36V 5.2Ah battery, the Nanrobot M5 offers a stated range of approximately 20 km. This gives the electric scooter a practical capacity for, for example, the journey to work, the shop or other destinations at shorter distances. Charging time is approximately five hours, making it easy to charge the battery at home between rides or overnight. Actual range can be affected by rider weight, temperature, speed, riding mode, gradients and terrain, among other factors. For those who mainly use their electric scooter for everyday distances, the battery offers a balanced combination of capacity and ease of use.

12-inch tyres for greater comfort.

One of the most noticeable characteristics of the Nanrobot M5 is its large 12-inch pneumatic tyres. Compared with smaller wheels, air-filled tyres can absorb bumps better and contribute to a smoother feel on tarmac, cycle paths and less even surfaces. The front suspension complements the tyres and helps the electric scooter handle vibrations and minor impacts during the ride. For those looking for an electric scooter with large wheels and a focus on comfort, the M5 is therefore an interesting alternative, particularly if smaller and harder wheels give too rough a riding experience.

Dual disc brakes and E-ABS for controlled stopping.

The Nanrobot M5 is fitted with two disc brakes together with electronic E-ABS. The combination gives braking force on both the front and rear wheels and is designed to deliver more controlled stopping. This is an important feature when using an electric scooter in environments where you need to be able to adjust speed quickly and predictably. The model also has front and rear lighting, including a rear light that helps you be seen more clearly. An electric horn function is also integrated, making it easier to alert other road users to your presence.

Seat, wide footboard and practical basket.

For those who want to sit during the ride, the Nanrobot M5 offers a more relaxed riding experience than a classic electric scooter without a seat. The seat is height-adjustable and together with the approximately 8.6-inch wide tyre you have plenty of room for a stable and comfortable position. The rear storage basket at the same time makes this seated electric scooter with basket practical for everyday use. There you can place a smaller rucksack or your shopping instead of carrying them on your body. It is a simple detail that can make a big difference when the M5 is used for errands and shorter trips.

Foldable construction with several practical features.

Despite its robust construction, the Nanrobot M5 is a foldable electric scooter, which makes it easier to store at home or transport. The model weighs 20.8 kg and measures 1240 x 600 x 950 mm, so it is primarily developed for stability and comfort rather than extremely low weight. The recommended maximum rider weight is 120 kg. The Nanrobot M5 also has an ignition key and a hook, giving more practical functions in daily use. With an IP54 rating, the electric scooter also has basic protection against dust and water splashes, but it should not be treated as fully waterproof or exposed to unnecessarily heavy rain.

A complete choice for comfortable electric transport.

The Nanrobot M5 suits those looking for an electric scooter where comfort and practicality are at the centre. The large 12-inch tyres, front suspension and seat contribute to a more pleasant riding position, while the dual disc brakes with E-ABS provide a well-considered braking solution. With a 350W motor, three riding modes, 20 km stated range, front and rear lighting and a practical basket, you get a model adapted to many types of everyday journeys. The package includes the Nanrobot M5, charger, tool kit, user manual and basket, giving you the most important items to get started. Order the Nanrobot M5 from Wheelyshop and choose a comfortable electric scooter with large wheels, a seat and practical everyday features.

Laws & rules

Electric scooter
An electric scooter is considered a bicycle if it has a maximum speed of 20 km/h and a motor with a maximum of 250 W. However, it is important to note that the limit applies to the continuous (nominal) power – which means that the electric scooter may temporarily have a higher so-called peak power, for example up to 1000 W, as long as the nominal power does not exceed 250 W.

If the electric scooter exceeds 20 km/h in speed or has a motor with a nominal power of more than 250 W, other rules apply. The next classification is Moped class II and then Moped class IThere are technical requirements, such as braking systems, that must be met for an electric scooter to be classified as a moped.

Essentially, if it reaches up to 25 km/h it is considered Moped class II, while if the speed exceeds 40 km/h and the motor is stronger than 250 W, it is classified as Moped class I. For Moped class I, an AM driving license is required, the vehicle must be registered, and a helmet must be worn. Moped class II requires a driver's license and mandatory use of a helmet. If the electric scooter does not meet the requirements for a bicycle, Moped class I or II, it may not to be used on public roads.

Electric bike
For the requirements to apply to an electric bicycle, the motor must be limited to 250 W nominal (continuous) power and only assist pedaling up to 25 km/hThis means that the engine can temporarily deliver a higher so-called peak power, for example up to 1000 W, as long as the nominal power does not exceed 250 W. The electric bike must also be pedaled for the motor to work – it must not be able to drive on its own without the user's pedaling power.

Deviation from these requirements results in the vehicle being classified as moped, which entails other technical requirements, registration requirements, driving license and insurance.

We strongly recommend the use of a helmet, especially if the driver is under 15 years old, although it is not mandatory.
