Here at Wheelyshop.se, we offer a guarantee for all electric bicycles and electric scooters that we sell to ensure that our customers are satisfied and secure with their purchases. Below you will find information about our guarantee and what it covers.
Warranty period:
Our warranty period is 1 year from the time the electric bike/scooter has been delivered to the customer. For products purchased before 31 December 2024, a warranty period of 6 months applies. During the warranty period, if there is any problem with your e-bike/scooter that is related to manufacturing defects, we will repair or replace the product at no extra cost to you.
What the warranty covers:
Our warranty covers the repair or replacement of any part found to be defective due to manufacturing defects. This includes technical components such as the electric motor, the control unit and the display.
What the warranty does not cover:
The warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear or damage caused by:
- Accidents
- Improper use or maintenance
- Changes or modifications to the electric bicycle/electric scooter
- Use of non-approved spare parts
- Hard use or weather conditions (moisture damage)
- Natural wear and tear on the battery, including reduced capacity or range that occurs over time and through normal use
- Wear or puncture of tires and tubes
- The warranty also does not cover aesthetic defects such as scratches or paint loss.
Limitations and disclaimers:
Wheelyshop is not responsible for indirect damages or consequential damages that may arise as a result of errors in the product. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Financial losses
- Lost use of the product
- Costs for alternative means of transport, such as bus tickets, rental cars or other replacement vehicles
The warranty only covers the repair or replacement of the defective product or its parts in accordance with the warranty terms. Any inconveniences that arise during the warranty process, for example waiting time for repair or delivery, are not covered by Wheelyshop's responsibility.
Responsibility for transport costs:
In some cases, problems can be solved without the need to send the product back, for example by adjustments being made by the customer with our guidance or by us sending a spare part. However, if the e-bike or e-scooter needs to be sent back to us for repair or replacement, we will send a pre-paid return label to facilitate the process. Once the repair or replacement is complete, we will also cover the costs of returning the product to you.
Procedure for applying for warranty:
If you experience a problem with your e-bike or e-scooter during the warranty period, please follow the steps below:
- Contact us through our website.
- Submit the following information:
- Order number
- Pictures or videos that clearly show the problem
- A brief description of the error
We process your warranty application within 5 working days after we receive all the necessary information. Our team will do their best to resolve the issue quickly and efficiently.
Important:
For the warranty to be valid, the electric bicycle/electric scooter must have been used and maintained according to the user manual and the manufacturer's recommendations. We recommend that you save the purchase receipt and other documentation related to the purchase, as this is required to apply for warranty.
Also note that water resistance may decrease over time due to normal wear and use. To ensure that your product maintains its function and performance, we recommend that you avoid exposing it to excessively humid conditions and follow the manufacturer's guidelines for maintenance.

This guarantee does not affect your rights under the Consumer Purchase Act.
