Produktbeskrivning

Stability, comfort and power in every pedal stroke.

Discover freedom with the FAFREES F20 Mate – an electric tricycle that combines balance, power and long range in a robust and affordable package. With its low entry height, powerful engine and market-leading battery capacity, the F20 Mate is the perfect companion for both everyday commuting and longer adventures – regardless of age or experience level.

Long range for smooth commuting.

With a massive 48V 21Ah lithium battery, you get up to 115 km on a single charge with pedal assistance – or up to 85 km in pure electric mode. That means fewer charges, longer rides and more freedom to explore the city or countryside. The battery fully charges in 7-8 hours and is IPX5 rated, making it ready for any weather.

Powerful motor with extra torque.

The rear hub motor delivers 500W nominal power and a whopping 750W in peak capacity – which together with 65 Nm of maximum torque provides enough power to get you up 15° inclines without a problem. You can easily adjust the level of assistance via the LCD display to get just the help you need, whether you're pedaling lightly through town or climbing steep hills.

Maximum security, day and night.

FAFREES F20 Mate is equipped with complete safety equipment: LED headlights, front and rear indicators, rear light, electric horn, rearview mirrors and reflectors. The tricycle's stability and the adjustable saddle and handlebar position ensure safe driving for people between 160-200 cm tall.

Built to wear – and last.

With a load capacity of a whopping 180 kg (incl. driver), the F20 Mate is ready for both large transactions and everyday transport. The reinforced aluminum frame combined with a robust rear cargo space (48×36×16 cm) and the possibility of a front basket option make this an electric vehicle that can handle real needs. Perfect for seniors, the commuter or the eco-conscious commuter.

Smooth and stable driving in all conditions.

The powerful 20×3.0" fat tires provide 30% more ground contact and better grip, which makes the trike stable even on gravel, grass or wet surfaces. The built-in differential optimizes the rotation of the rear wheels in turns for smooth and safe maneuvering, without losing balance or control.

Foldable design for easy storage.

Despite its size, the FAFREES F20 Mate is cleverly designed with a foldable frame and handlebars, which means you can easily stow it away in tighter spaces – perfect for apartments, storage rooms or smaller garages.

Comfort in focus - for all ages.

The low step-in height of 40 cm and the adjustable seat height make the bike accessible to everyone – regardless of mobility or height. The padded saddle with backrest and shock-absorbing fork at the front combined with saddle shock absorption at the rear provides a compliant and comfortable experience, even on longer rides.

Full control with LCD display and cruise control.

The clear LCD display shows battery level, speed, range and selection of assistance levels (PAS 0–5). Here you can also activate cruise control, indicators and warning lights - all within easy reach. It makes your driving both safer and more controlled.

Summary: A stable three-wheeler with power and comfort.

The FAFREES F20 Mate is not just an electric tricycle – it's a smart means of transport for those who want stability, reliability and a long range. With its strong motor, large battery, safety equipment and comfortable design, it is a given choice for both beginners and experienced electric cyclists. Laws & regulations

Electric scooter
An electric scooter is considered a bicycle if it has a maximum speed of 20 km/h and a motor with no more than 250 W. However, it is important to note that the limit applies to the continuous (nominal) power - which means that the electric scooter can temporarily have a higher so-called peak power, for example up to 1000 W, as long as the nominal power does not exceed 250 W.

If the electric scooter exceeds 20 km/h in speed or has a motor with more than 250 W nominal power, different rules apply. The next classification is Moped class II and thereafter Moped class I. There are technical requirements, such as braking systems, that must be met for an electric scooter to be classified as a moped.

Essentially, if it reaches up to 25 km/h it is considered as Moped class II, while if the speed exceeds 40 km/h and the motor is stronger than 250 W, it is classified as Moped class I. For Moped Class I, an AM license is required, the vehicle must be registered, and a helmet must be worn. Moped class II requires a driver's license and mandatory use of a helmet. If the electric scooter does not meet the requirements for bicycle, moped class I or II it gets it not to be used on public roads.

Electric bike
For the requirements to apply to an electric bicycle, the motor must be limited to 250 W nominal (continuous) power and only assist the pedaling up to 25 km/h. This means that the engine can temporarily deliver a higher so-called peak power, for example up to 1000 W, as long as the nominal power does not exceed 250 W. The electric bicycle must also be pedaled for the motor to work - so it must not drive on its own without the user's pedaling power.

Deviation from these requirements results in the vehicle being classified as moped, which entails other technical requirements, mandatory registration, driver's license and insurance.

We strongly recommend the use of a helmet, especially if the driver is under the age of 15, although it is not mandatory.

Read our blog posts for more information about which rules apply around electric scooters and electric bikes.
