Produktbeskrivning

Light and powerful city bike with an impressive range.

Discover the ENGWE N1 Air, an ultralight electric bicycle in carbon fiber that combines style, performance and comfort. With a weight of only 15.6 kg, a range of up to 100 km and a powerful 250W motor, this is the perfect bike for city commuting and longer tours.

Carbon fiber frame for maximum performance.

The ENGWE N1 Air is made of high-quality Toray carbon fiber, the same material used by premium bike brands. The frame weighs only 1.28 kg, which makes the bike lighter and easier to maneuver. Carbon fiber is also 11 times stronger than aluminum, which guarantees stability and safety even in sharp turns.

The aerodynamic design reduces air resistance and provides a smoother and more efficient cycling. In addition, the carbon fiber frame absorbs vibrations from the road, providing a comfortable and controlled ride even on uneven surfaces.

Powerful motor and long range.

With a 250W brushless MIVICE motor and a torque of 40 Nm, you get a smooth and powerful acceleration, perfect for city driving and easier uphills. The bike has a top speed of 25 km/h and two different riding modes, so you can adapt your ride as needed.

The removable 36V 10Ah Samsung battery provides a range of up to 100 km in PAS (pedal assist) mode. The battery can be easily removed and charged separately, which makes it convenient to charge both at home and in the office.

Shimano 7-speed drivetrain for flexibility.

Equipped with a Shimano 7-speed gearbox, you get maximum flexibility regardless of whether you are cycling in an urban environment or on more hilly terrain. The gear system provides smooth and precise shifting, which improves the cycling experience and makes the ride more efficient.

Torque sensor for natural cycling.

The advanced torque sensor registers your pedaling force and adapts the electric assistance accordingly. This provides a more natural feel and eliminates sudden accelerations, creating a smooth and comfortable driving experience.

Safe and comfortable city bike.

The ENGWE N1 Air is equipped with 160mm front and rear mechanical disc brakes, providing reliable and powerful braking performance in all weather conditions. The large 28-inch tires with pneumatic tires ensure stability and comfort even on uneven roads.

For increased safety, the bike has both a front light and a solar-powered rear light, which makes you visible in traffic even during dark evenings.

Smart technology and theft protection.

With a built-in GPS tracker and motion sensor, you get extra security against theft. The system detects suspicious movements and makes it possible to track the bike if necessary. In addition, the bike has an ignition key, which provides extra security when parked.

ENGWE N1 Air is the perfect choice for those looking for a stylish, light and powerful electric bike for city life. With high-quality components and advanced technology, it offers a first-class driving experience and maximum comfort.

Laws & regulations

Electric scooter
An electric scooter is considered a bicycle if it has a maximum speed of 20 km/h and a motor with no more than 250 W. However, it is important to note that the limit applies to the continuous (nominal) power - which means that the electric scooter can temporarily have a higher so-called peak power, for example up to 1000 W, as long as the nominal power does not exceed 250 W.

If the electric scooter exceeds 20 km/h in speed or has a motor with more than 250 W nominal power, different rules apply. The next classification is Moped class II and thereafter Moped class I. There are technical requirements, such as braking systems, that must be met for an electric scooter to be classified as a moped.

Essentially, if it reaches up to 25 km/h it is considered as Moped class II, while if the speed exceeds 40 km/h and the motor is stronger than 250 W, it is classified as Moped class I. For Moped Class I, an AM license is required, the vehicle must be registered, and a helmet must be worn. Moped class II requires a driver's license and mandatory use of a helmet. If the electric scooter does not meet the requirements for bicycle, moped class I or II it gets it not to be used on public roads.

Electric bike
For the requirements to apply to an electric bicycle, the motor must be limited to 250 W nominal (continuous) power and only assist the pedaling up to 25 km/h. This means that the engine can temporarily deliver a higher so-called peak power, for example up to 1000 W, as long as the nominal power does not exceed 250 W. The electric bicycle must also be pedaled for the motor to work - so it must not drive on its own without the user's pedaling power.

Deviation from these requirements results in the vehicle being classified as moped, which entails other technical requirements, mandatory registration, driver's license and insurance.

We strongly recommend the use of a helmet, especially if the driver is under the age of 15, although it is not mandatory.

Read our blog posts for more information about which rules apply around electric scooters and electric bikes.
