Powerful mid-engine commuting.

Eleglide C2 is the electric bike that takes your commuting to the next level. Equipped with a powerful mid-mounted motor and an impressive range of up to 100 km, it combines comfort, technology and strength to give you an optimal cycling experience – whether you're commuting in an urban environment or exploring new roads outside the city centre.

Mid-mounted engine for smooth and responsive driving.

The C2's 250W mid-motor is seamlessly integrated into the crankset, providing better balance and a lower center of gravity. This means that you get a more stable and smoother ride, especially in curves or on uneven surfaces. With an impressive torque of 75 Nm, the bike handles steep slopes and varied terrain effortlessly. Thanks to the built-in torque sensor, you get exactly the elastic assistance you need, when you need it – which makes every pedal more efficient and pleasant.

Five levels of assistance for total control.

The Eleglide C2 offers five different speed modes (12, 15, 18, 21 and 25 km/h), so you can adapt the ride to your surroundings and energy. Whether you want to glide slowly through city streets or maintain a steady pace on the highway, the C2 gives you the flexibility to control your journey. Shimano's reliable 7-speed system makes it easy to shift smoothly even on downhills, giving you full control over speed.

Hydraulic disc brakes for safety in every situation.

Safety is key – especially on a powerful electric bike. The Eleglide C2 is equipped with hydraulic disc brakes that provide quick and precise braking action, even in wet or muddy conditions. The braking distance is up to 30% shorter compared to traditional braking systems, allowing you to stop safely even in the event of sudden obstacles. Combined with reliable suspension with 80 mm travel and lockable function, every ride becomes comfortable and safe, regardless of the surface.

Long range that lasts all week.

Thanks to the powerful 36V 13Ah (468Wh) battery, you can enjoy up to 100 km in assistance mode – perfect for both daily commuting and weekend adventures. The charging time is around 6.5 hours, which means you can easily charge overnight. The battery is removable and can be charged both on and off the bike, giving you full flexibility. For those who love to cycle long distances, there is the option of buying an extra battery to further extend the range.

Designed for comfort and flexibility.

The Eleglide C2's ergonomic frame makes it easy to get on and off, regardless of age or height. The handlebars, saddle and stem are fully adjustable, making it easy to find the perfect riding position. The bike fits riders between 160 and 195 cm, and thanks to its sturdy construction with a maximum load of 120 kg, it's ready for everything from daily commuting to packing adventures.

Smart functions and connection via app.

On the clear 2.6-inch LCD screen, you get all the information you need during the journey – such as speed, battery level, selected assistance mode and distance traveled. With the accompanying mobile app (iOS and Android), you can also adjust settings, turn on the lights, lock the bike, change the level of assistance and much more directly from your phone. You get full control and increased security, wherever you are.

Ready for night driving and all weather.

The C2 is equipped with front and rear lights that meet the EU StVZO standard, which guarantees high visibility and safety even in the dark. The IPX4 rating protects against rain splashes, and the robust splash guards keep you dry even on wet roads. Regardless of the weather, you can feel safe and comfortable on your electric bike.

Laws & regulations

Electric scooter
An electric scooter is considered a bicycle if it has a maximum speed of 20 km/h and a motor with no more than 250 W. However, it is important to note that the limit applies to the continuous (nominal) power - which means that the electric scooter can temporarily have a higher so-called peak power, for example up to 1000 W, as long as the nominal power does not exceed 250 W.

If the electric scooter exceeds 20 km/h in speed or has a motor with more than 250 W nominal power, different rules apply. The next classification is Moped class II and thereafter Moped class I. There are technical requirements, such as braking systems, that must be met for an electric scooter to be classified as a moped.

Essentially, if it reaches up to 25 km/h it is considered as Moped class II, while if the speed exceeds 40 km/h and the motor is stronger than 250 W, it is classified as Moped class I. For Moped Class I, an AM license is required, the vehicle must be registered, and a helmet must be worn. Moped class II requires a driver's license and mandatory use of a helmet. If the electric scooter does not meet the requirements for bicycle, moped class I or II it gets it not to be used on public roads.

Electric bike
For the requirements to apply to an electric bicycle, the motor must be limited to 250 W nominal (continuous) power and only assist the pedaling up to 25 km/h. This means that the engine can temporarily deliver a higher so-called peak power, for example up to 1000 W, as long as the nominal power does not exceed 250 W. The electric bicycle must also be pedaled for the motor to work - so it must not drive on its own without the user's pedaling power.

Deviation from these requirements results in the vehicle being classified as moped, which entails other technical requirements, mandatory registration, driver's license and insurance.

We strongly recommend the use of a helmet, especially if the driver is under the age of 15, although it is not mandatory.

Read our blog posts for more information about which rules apply around electric scooters and electric bikes.
