Product description

DYU D3S – compact electric bike for smooth urban commuting.

The DYU D3S is a compact electric bike for those who want to make everyday journeys easier without needing a large and heavy bicycle. The combination of a 250W motor, pedal assistance up to 25 km/h and a range of up to 50 km makes this model well suited to commuting, shorter errands and city riding. The foldable construction takes up less space at home and is practical when your electric bike needs to come along in the car or be stored in limited spaces. With 14-inch tyres, an adjustable saddle and a weight of approximately 17 kg, you get a nimble format that still offers the most important features for daily electric transport.

250W motor for efficient electric bike commuting.

The 250W motor helps you along with smooth pedal assistance and makes the DYU D3S a practical electric bike for the city's everyday journeys. The assistance reaches up to 25 km/h and the model handles gradients of up to approximately 15 degrees under suitable conditions. This makes hills and longer stretches less tiring while you still pedal and retain the feel of traditional cycling.

No throttle for natural pedal assistance.

The DYU D3S is an electric bike without a throttle, which means the motor is activated through pedal assistance when you pedal. This gives a more natural cycling feel and makes the model well suited to everyday commuting in urban environments. With a 250W motor and assistance up to 25 km/h, you get extra help on, for example, hills and longer stretches while still pedalling actively.

Up to 50 km range with pedal assistance.

An integrated 36V 10Ah lithium-ion battery gives the DYU D3S a range of up to approximately 50 km in pedal assistance mode. This gives this electric bike capacity for both daily commuting and several shorter trips between charges. Actual range is naturally affected by, for example, rider weight, temperature, surface, gradients and how much motor assistance is used. The battery has a BMS for battery management and takes approximately 5–6 hours to charge. You can therefore easily charge your electric bike during the working day or overnight and have it ready for the next journey.

Foldable electric bike that takes up less space.

The DYU D3S is developed for those who appreciate a compact means of transport. The foldable design means this electric bike can be made considerably narrower for storage, which is practical in the flat, a storage room or the car. When unfolded the model measures approximately 1170 × 500 × 990 mm and folded approximately 1170 × 200 × 720 mm. With a weight of around 17 kg it is also easier to handle than many larger electric bikes. For those who combine cycling with other forms of transport or simply want to free up more space at home, the DYU D3S provides a flexible solution for everyday life.

14-inch pneumatic tyres for comfortable city riding.

The 14-inch pneumatic tyres help the DYU D3S give a pleasant riding experience on tarmac, cycle paths and other common surfaces in the city. The air-filled tyres absorb minor bumps and contribute to this electric bike feeling smooth during everyday journeys. The compact wheel size also contributes to the model's agile format and makes it easy to manoeuvre in narrower urban environments. A suspension seat post gives additional comfort, which is especially appreciated when you use your electric bike regularly for commuting or longer rides through the city.

Dual disc brakes for controlled braking.

The DYU D3S is fitted with disc brakes both front and rear. For an electric bike used in city traffic, two disc brakes give good control when you need to reduce speed or stop. The model also has lighting front and rear for better visibility when light conditions deteriorate. The IP54 rating gives protection against dust and water splashes and makes the construction more suitable for varying everyday conditions. The combination of brakes, lighting and a robust frame makes the DYU D3S well considered for those who want to use their electric bike regularly in urban environments.

Adjustable saddle for different riders.

The adjustable saddle height makes the DYU D3S suitable for riders of different heights. The recommended rider height is approximately 160–195 cm and the recommended maximum load is 120 kg. The wide saddle and suspension seat post contribute to a more comfortable riding position, especially on slightly longer journeys. This compact electric bike has a single gear, keeping use straightforward for everyday city riding. An LCD display shows the battery level so you can more easily keep track of remaining capacity and plan when it is time to charge.

Practical features for everyday journeys.

The DYU D3S combines a compact format with features that make an electric bike easier to use every day. You get a cruise control function, clear battery indication, front and rear lighting and a foldable construction that makes both transport and storage easier. The package includes a charger with cable, battery, pedals, multi-function key, user manual and warranty card. This means you have the most important items to assemble the necessary parts and start using your new electric bike without needing to supplement with basic equipment straight away.

Choose the DYU D3S for simple and flexible commuting.

The DYU D3S suits those looking for a foldable electric bike with a 250W motor, up to 50 km of range and a compact format for city riding. The combination of 14-inch pneumatic tyres, dual disc brakes, adjustable saddle and pedal assistance up to 25 km/h makes the model practical for everything from work commutes to quick errands in the local area. Laws & rules

Electric scooter
An electric scooter is considered a bicycle if it has a maximum speed of 20 km/h and a motor with a maximum of 250 W. However, it is important to note that the limit applies to the continuous (nominal) power – which means that the electric scooter may temporarily have a higher so-called peak power, for example up to 1000 W, as long as the nominal power does not exceed 250 W.

If the electric scooter exceeds 20 km/h in speed or has a motor with a nominal power of more than 250 W, other rules apply. The next classification is Moped class II and then Moped class IThere are technical requirements, such as braking systems, that must be met for an electric scooter to be classified as a moped.

Essentially, if it reaches up to 25 km/h it is considered Moped class II, while if the speed exceeds 40 km/h and the motor is stronger than 250 W, it is classified as Moped class I. For Moped class I, an AM driving license is required, the vehicle must be registered, and a helmet must be worn. Moped class II requires a driver's license and mandatory use of a helmet. If the electric scooter does not meet the requirements for a bicycle, Moped class I or II, it may not to be used on public roads.

Electric bike
For the requirements to apply to an electric bicycle, the motor must be limited to 250 W nominal (continuous) power and only assist pedaling up to 25 km/hThis means that the engine can temporarily deliver a higher so-called peak power, for example up to 1000 W, as long as the nominal power does not exceed 250 W. The electric bike must also be pedaled for the motor to work – it must not be able to drive on its own without the user's pedaling power.

Deviation from these requirements results in the vehicle being classified as moped, which entails other technical requirements, registration requirements, driving license and insurance.

We strongly recommend the use of a helmet, especially if the driver is under 15 years old, although it is not mandatory.
