Product description
Product description
LOOKROAD L20 for powerful and flexible riding.
The LOOKROAD L20 is a powerful electric bike for those who want to combine long range, high motor output and comfort on varied surfaces. With a 1500W motor, a 48V 20Ah battery and wide 20 x 4.0-inch pneumatic tyres, it is built for both longer rides and more demanding terrain. Front and rear suspension helps smooth out uneven roads, while hydraulic disc brakes provide controlled stopping power. For those looking for a fatbike electric bike with plenty of power and practical features, the LOOKROAD L20 offers a versatile platform for both everyday riding and adventure.
1500W motor with 80Nm of torque.
The heart of this electric bike is a 1500W motor with a stated torque of 80Nm. That gives quick response and plenty of power when the surface becomes more challenging or the road climbs. The stated maximum speed is up to 55 km/h, and the product also has a speed limiter set to 25 km/h. The LOOKROAD L20 has a stated climbing ability of up to 40 degrees, making the motor particularly interesting for riders who want extra power on hills. Performance can vary depending on rider weight, gradient, temperature, battery level and surface, among other things.
Long range with a removable 48V 20Ah battery.
The LOOKROAD L20 is an electric bike with long battery life thanks to a removable 48V 20Ah lithium battery, equivalent to approximately 960 Wh. According to the product specification, range can reach approximately 110–130 km with pedal assistance and around 70–90 km in fully electric mode. That makes the model practical for longer excursions and for those who want to reduce the number of charging stops. The battery can be detached for easier charging and storage. With the included 54.6V 3A charger, charging time is stated at approximately 6–8 hours. Actual range is always affected by riding mode, terrain, temperature, tyre pressure and load.
20-inch fatbike tyres for varied surfaces.
The wide 20 x 4.0-inch pneumatic tyres give this electric bike the stable feel many associate with a fatbike. The larger contact area helps create grip on gravel roads, forest trails and other uneven surfaces, while the tyres also add extra cushioning. The combination of wide off-road tyres and a robust frame makes the LOOKROAD L20 suitable for those who want to be able to leave smooth tarmac behind. The wide tyres also give a confident and steady riding experience at lower speeds and on surfaces where narrower bike tyres often feel more nervous.
Front and rear suspension for better comfort.
To make riding more comfortable, this electric bike has suspension both front and rear. The system helps absorb impacts and vibrations when you ride over cracks, gravel and uneven roads. This is especially valuable on a powerful fatbike electric bike like the LOOKROAD L20, where the range of use can stretch from everyday distances to more varied terrain. Together with the wide air-filled tyres, the suspension creates a more stable and compliant feel. The result is that both longer rides and rougher sections can be covered with less strain coming from the surface.
Hydraulic disc brakes front and rear.
The LOOKROAD L20 is fitted with two hydraulic disc brakes, one at the front and one at the rear. On a powerful electric bike, clear and controllable braking action is especially important, and the hydraulic system is designed to give response with relatively little force at the levers. That provides better control on downhill sections, at varying speeds and on technical surfaces. The combination of hydraulic disc brakes, wide tyres and front and rear suspension means the bike's power is balanced by components that help the rider stay in control across changing riding conditions.
Three riding modes and seven gears for flexible use.
This electric bike offers three riding modes: manual pedalling, pedal assistance and fully electric riding. That makes it easy to adapt how much help you want to the distance, battery level and terrain. The seven mechanical gears also make it possible to adjust pedalling resistance when you use the pedals. On the LCD display you can follow important riding information such as speed, battery level and ride data. The LOOKROAD L20 also has a throttle, USB port and ignition key, making the model practical for users who want more control and more functions directly from the handlebars.
LED lighting and electric horn for everyday use.
For better visibility, this electric bike is fitted with LED lighting both front and rear. The powerful headlight helps illuminate the road when riding in the dark, while the rear light makes the bike more visible from behind. According to the product information, the rear light becomes more prominent under braking to alert road users behind you. The LOOKROAD L20 also has an electric horn, giving a quick way to make those around you aware of your presence. Together with the LCD display, USB port and ignition key, you get an electric bike equipped for both practical use and longer rides.
Robust construction with high load capacity.
The LOOKROAD L20 has a high-carbon steel frame and is a non-folding electric bike with external dimensions of approximately 1720 x 700 x 1090 mm. Net weight is approximately 39 kg and the recommended maximum rider weight is 150 kg. The recommended rider height is from around 165 cm upwards. The IP54 rating means protection against limited dust ingress and water splashes, but the bike should not be regarded as fully waterproof. The robust construction, the long saddle and the wide tyres give the model a distinctly moped-inspired look, while pedals and gears retain the flexibility of an electric bike.
Check the rules for where you ride.
The LOOKROAD L20 has considerably higher motor output than a standard-classified electric bike and is also fitted with a throttle. Although a speed limiter set to 25 km/h is included according to the product specification, that does not automatically mean the model falls under the same rules as a traditional 250W electric bike. Rules on classification, registration, insurance and where the vehicle may be ridden can vary depending on configuration and area of use. Always check the current regulations before riding on public roads. The model's full performance is primarily suited to use where such output and speed are permitted.
Choose the LOOKROAD L20 for range, power and comfort.
For those looking for a powerful electric bike with long range, the LOOKROAD L20 combines a 48V 20Ah battery, 1500W motor, 80Nm of torque and wide 20-inch fatbike tyres. Front and rear suspension, hydraulic disc brakes and three riding modes make the model flexible over both longer distances and rougher surfaces. Add the removable battery, LED lighting, LCD display, USB port and seven gears and you get a well-equipped electric bike for those who prioritise power and function. Order the LOOKROAD L20 from Wheelyshop and take your next ride with more range and more possibilities.

Laws & rules
Laws & rules
Electric scooters (e-scooters)
Rules for e-scooters are not fully harmonised across the EU – each member state sets its own requirements. In most EU countries, e-scooters are limited to a top speed of 20–25 km/h for use on public roads, and some countries also require type approval, insurance or a minimum age. Models that exceed the national limits – for example with higher top speeds or stronger motors – may generally only be used on private property. Always check the current rules with the national transport authority in your country before riding on public roads.
Electric bikes (pedelecs)
Across the EU, an electric bike is treated as a regular bicycle if the motor has a maximum continuous rated power of 250 W, only assists while you pedal, and cuts out at 25 km/h (EU Regulation 168/2013 and EN 15194). Such pedelecs require no registration, licence or insurance. The motor may temporarily deliver a higher peak output, as long as the continuous rated power does not exceed 250 W.
Faster or more powerful models (such as speed pedelecs with assistance up to 45 km/h) are classified as mopeds (category L1e-B) and are subject to type approval, registration, insurance, helmet and licence requirements that vary by country. Models that do not meet these requirements may only be used on private property.
We strongly recommend wearing a helmet, even where it is not mandatory.
