Product description

Powerful, comfortable and designed for adventure.

KuKirin A1 is built for those who demand both performance and comfort. With a powerful 800W motor, high top speed and thoughtful details, the A1 offers a riding experience beyond the ordinary. Whether you are commuting to work or exploring new paths in your free time, the A1 delivers speed and stability.

Long range for smooth commuting.

With a powerful 48V 13Ah lithium battery, the KuKirin A1 gives you up to 45 km on a single charge — enough for an entire work week without hunting for a power outlet every day. Charging time is 7–8 hours, perfect for overnight charging. Advanced battery management (BMS) extends lifespan and improves safety.

Drive up to 45 km/h with full control.

The rear brushless motor delivers peak power of 1000W, reaching up to 45 km/h. Switch between three riding modes depending on traffic, terrain or battery level. Handles slopes up to 20° — perfect for city riding with varied topography.

Comfort — even on uneven surfaces.

Dual-acting suspension with GEL damping front and rear, combined with large 10" air-filled off-road tyres, lets you glide forward even on gravel or uneven pavement. Durable aluminium frame and stable kickstand for safe, comfortable riding in all situations.

Safety for day and night.

Disc brakes front and rear for short stopping distances even at high speeds. Front light, taillight and turn signals keep you visible in traffic — even in the dark or rain (IP54 rated). Cruise control, key lock and full mudguard coverage for added security.

Foldable and easy to carry.

Despite a powerful motor and robust build, the KuKirin A1 weighs only 25.5 kg. Easy to fold and take in the car, on the train or store at home. Dimensions: 115×58×129 cm (folded height 53.5 cm).

Smart display and intuitive controls.

Integrated 8×5 cm LCD screen shows speed, battery level, riding mode, mileage and lighting status at a glance. Thumb throttle and cruise control for a more relaxed ride on longer distances.

Built for everyday use — all year round.

Durable frame materials, air-filled hybrid tyres and dust-protected components handle daily rigors. 16 cm ground clearance clears curbs and bumps with ease. Kickstand included for easy parking.

Laws & rules

Electric scooters (e-scooters)
Rules for e-scooters are not fully harmonised across the EU – each member state sets its own requirements. In most EU countries, e-scooters are limited to a top speed of 20–25 km/h for use on public roads, and some countries also require type approval, insurance or a minimum age. Models that exceed the national limits – for example with higher top speeds or stronger motors – may generally only be used on private property. Always check the current rules with the national transport authority in your country before riding on public roads.

Electric bikes (pedelecs)
Across the EU, an electric bike is treated as a regular bicycle if the motor has a maximum continuous rated power of 250 W, only assists while you pedal, and cuts out at 25 km/h (EU Regulation 168/2013 and EN 15194). Such pedelecs require no registration, licence or insurance. The motor may temporarily deliver a higher peak output, as long as the continuous rated power does not exceed 250 W.

Faster or more powerful models (such as speed pedelecs with assistance up to 45 km/h) are classified as mopeds (category L1e-B) and are subject to type approval, registration, insurance, helmet and licence requirements that vary by country. Models that do not meet these requirements may only be used on private property.

We strongly recommend wearing a helmet, even where it is not mandatory.
