Product description

DriveTron DT08 – The ultimate commuter solution.

Discover the perfect combination of performance, convenience and safety with the DriveTron DT08 electric scooter. Designed to meet the demands of daily commuting, this electric scooter offers exceptional features that ensure a comfortable and reliable ride every time. The DriveTron DT08 is equipped with a powerful 500W motor and a 48V 13Ah battery that provides an impressive range of up to 50 kilometers. With a top speed of 25 km/h, you can quickly and efficiently get to your destination, making it perfect for longer trips and daily commuting needs. For those seeking extra speed, the speed limiter can be removed to reach speeds of up to 40 km/h. Remove the speed limiter here.

Superior comfort.

The ride becomes a joy thanks to the 10-inch tubeless vacuum tires and the fully suspended chassis. The front and rear suspension absorb shocks, providing a smooth and comfortable ride even on uneven surfaces, including gravel roads. This, combined with the EABS motor braking system that automatically activates when braking at speeds above 5 km/h, ensures a safe and stable riding experience.

Compact and portable design.

The design is both compact and portable with a quick-folding handlebar that makes it easy to transport and store the electric scooter. Despite its robust construction of aluminum alloy and iron, the DT08 model weighs only 22 kg, making it easy to carry with you.

Safety and control.

To further enhance the user experience, the DT08 is equipped with bright front and rear lights for increased visibility during evening rides and a standard bell to warn pedestrians and other cyclists of your presence. In addition, the wide handlebars and thumb throttle offer full control over the ride, ensuring a comfortable and safe ride.

User-friendly dimensions and weight.

The dimensions of the electric scooter are 120x65x125 cm in use and 120x65x57 cm when folded, making it easy to store even in tight spaces. The recommended age for users is over 14 years and the maximum weight capacity is 120 kg, making it suitable for a broad audience.

Weather resistance.

With an IPX5 water-resistance rating, the DriveTron DT08 is protected against splashes, dust and dirt, making it suitable for use in various weather conditions. The fast charging time of just 4-6 hours ensures that your electric scooter is always ready for the next adventure.

In summary, the DriveTron DT08 electric scooter is your ideal companion for daily commuting. With its powerful motor, superior riding comfort and user-friendly design, it offers a reliable and enjoyable riding experience. Adapt to the future of urban mobility with the DriveTron DT08 – where performance meets convenience.

Laws & rules

Electric scooters (e-scooters)
Rules for e-scooters are not fully harmonised across the EU – each member state sets its own requirements. In most EU countries, e-scooters are limited to a top speed of 20–25 km/h for use on public roads, and some countries also require type approval, insurance or a minimum age. Models that exceed the national limits – for example with higher top speeds or stronger motors – may generally only be used on private property. Always check the current rules with the national transport authority in your country before riding on public roads.

Electric bikes (pedelecs)
Across the EU, an electric bike is treated as a regular bicycle if the motor has a maximum continuous rated power of 250 W, only assists while you pedal, and cuts out at 25 km/h (EU Regulation 168/2013 and EN 15194). Such pedelecs require no registration, licence or insurance. The motor may temporarily deliver a higher peak output, as long as the continuous rated power does not exceed 250 W.

Faster or more powerful models (such as speed pedelecs with assistance up to 45 km/h) are classified as mopeds (category L1e-B) and are subject to type approval, registration, insurance, helmet and licence requirements that vary by country. Models that do not meet these requirements may only be used on private property.

We strongly recommend wearing a helmet, even where it is not mandatory.
