Produktbeskrivning

Carrier – Bag Edition is a practical and versatile bottle holder with storage pocket, specially designed for electric scooters and also compatible with bicycles. This model is easily mounted on the handlebar or frame and makes it convenient to bring a water bottle, thermos, drink or other everyday accessories while traveling. A perfect accessory for commuting, longer trips or everyday use where accessibility and order are important.

The bag is equipped with elastic Velcro straps that make assembly fast and stable without tools. It sits firmly even on uneven surfaces and can be easily moved or removed if necessary. The adjustable drawstring at the top helps keep the bottle securely in place while driving, reducing the risk of rattles or the contents falling out.

The material is water resistant and designed to withstand daily use in varying weather. The inside is insulated, which helps keep the drink hot or cold for a longer time. On the outside, there is a spacious mesh pocket where you can store your mobile phone, keys, charging cable or other small items that you want easily accessible.

Thanks to drainage holes in the bottom, water easily drains out in the event of rain, which contributes to quick drying and increased durability. Carrier – Bag Edition is a smart and functional accessory for you who want to improve the comfort and ease of use of your electric scooter. Order today from Wheelyshop and make every trip more practical and organized.

Laws & regulations

Electric scooter
An electric scooter is considered a bicycle if it has a maximum speed of 20 km/h and a motor with no more than 250 W. However, it is important to note that the limit applies to the continuous (nominal) power - which means that the electric scooter can temporarily have a higher so-called peak power, for example up to 1000 W, as long as the nominal power does not exceed 250 W.

If the electric scooter exceeds 20 km/h in speed or has a motor with more than 250 W nominal power, different rules apply. The next classification is Moped class II and thereafter Moped class I. There are technical requirements, such as braking systems, that must be met for an electric scooter to be classified as a moped.

Essentially, if it reaches up to 25 km/h it is considered as Moped class II, while if the speed exceeds 40 km/h and the motor is stronger than 250 W, it is classified as Moped class I. For Moped Class I, an AM license is required, the vehicle must be registered, and a helmet must be worn. Moped class II requires a driver's license and mandatory use of a helmet. If the electric scooter does not meet the requirements for bicycle, moped class I or II it gets it not to be used on public roads.

Electric bike
For the requirements to apply to an electric bicycle, the motor must be limited to 250 W nominal (continuous) power and only assist the pedaling up to 25 km/h. This means that the engine can temporarily deliver a higher so-called peak power, for example up to 1000 W, as long as the nominal power does not exceed 250 W. The electric bicycle must also be pedaled for the motor to work - so it must not drive on its own without the user's pedaling power.

Deviation from these requirements results in the vehicle being classified as moped, which entails other technical requirements, mandatory registration, driver's license and insurance.

We strongly recommend the use of a helmet, especially if the driver is under the age of 15, although it is not mandatory.

Read our blog posts for more information about which rules apply around electric scooters and electric bikes.
