Product description

This brake disc is a high-quality and durable spare part developed specifically for Dualtron Thunder and Dualtron Ultra electric scooters. With its robust construction and efficient design, the brake disc delivers stable, powerful and even braking performance even at high speeds and in demanding riding conditions. This makes it an excellent choice for riders who have high demands for safety and control.

The brake disc is made of durable steel and has a ventilated design that contributes to efficient heat dissipation during braking. This reduces the risk of overheating and maintains braking action even during longer rides or repeated hard braking. The precise fit ensures easy installation without the need for modifications, making it ideal both as a replacement part and for upgrading the braking system.

By switching to a new brake disc, you improve not only the braking response but also the overall safety of your electric scooter. Order your brake disc for the Dualtron Thunder or Ultra today from Wheelyshop and keep riding with confidence and maximum braking performance.

Laws & rules

Electric scooters (e-scooters)
Rules for e-scooters are not fully harmonised across the EU – each member state sets its own requirements. In most EU countries, e-scooters are limited to a top speed of 20–25 km/h for use on public roads, and some countries also require type approval, insurance or a minimum age. Models that exceed the national limits – for example with higher top speeds or stronger motors – may generally only be used on private property. Always check the current rules with the national transport authority in your country before riding on public roads.

Electric bikes (pedelecs)
Across the EU, an electric bike is treated as a regular bicycle if the motor has a maximum continuous rated power of 250 W, only assists while you pedal, and cuts out at 25 km/h (EU Regulation 168/2013 and EN 15194). Such pedelecs require no registration, licence or insurance. The motor may temporarily deliver a higher peak output, as long as the continuous rated power does not exceed 250 W.

Faster or more powerful models (such as speed pedelecs with assistance up to 45 km/h) are classified as mopeds (category L1e-B) and are subject to type approval, registration, insurance, helmet and licence requirements that vary by country. Models that do not meet these requirements may only be used on private property.

We strongly recommend wearing a helmet, even where it is not mandatory.
